insulator is the CD203s. His Dad, Matthew, brought him to the show. He started collecting after his aunt gave him a book about elements. One of the pictures in the book was a cobalt insulator. He wanted to know more about insulators, so one the end of the week he had 6 or 7 insulators.
I also met Michael and C.J. Lutson, brothers from Cincinnati, Ohio. Michael is 16 years old and CJ is 6 – he attended last year. He has also attended a few swap meets. Michael hasn’t starting specializing in any one type of insulator but he stated that he prefers sure was excited! He hit the free table hard and table rocks!” He is currently not specializing but also prefers glass insulators (although I did see him picking some porcelain from the free table!)

anything interesting to write about. While I was walking down one of the aisles Bill Rosato was walking towards me going in the other direction and he was holding a porcelain U202A with a very interesting glaze – so I stopped and asked him about it. Now, I am not a mud collector – but even I could see that the glaze was something special. As it turns out it was pretty special and I was able to get a photo of it. Bill says the insulator came out of Manitoba many years ago and it will be up for auction in December in Bill and Jill’s Auction #151.
