CONNECTIONS

CONNECTIONS SERIES 2017

THE LUXURY EVENTS PROVIDER WILL MAKE ITS DEBUTS IN INDIA AND IRELAND THIS YEAR

CONNECTIONS LUXURY IN INDIA The first Connections Luxury event of 2017 will be held at the Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad, on March 26-29. Housed in a 19th-century palace set 600 metres above the vibrant city, the 60-room hotel is one of the world’s most opulent five-star properties. Distant Frontiers will support Connections Luxury as its experience provider and ground-handler. The event will welcome 80 leading travel buyers and suppliers for one-on-one meetings and memorable experiences. These will include henna tattoo sessions, pickle making, a visit to Charminar bazaar, and a horse-drawn carriage ride.

CONNECTIONS LUXURY IN IRELAND Connections’ 2017 European event will be hosted by the five-star Powerscourt Hotel, part of Autograph Collection, on May 21-24. Set one hour from Dublin on a verdant estate, the 194-room hotel shares it surrounds with two championship golf courses and Ireland’s highest waterfall. Adams & Butler will be the official DMC for the event, while Failte Ireland will support Connections Luxury as its country partner. Travel buyers and suppliers will enjoy some authentic local activities – including wild foraging, archery, croquet and a Guinness experience – as well as an evening of contemporary Irish cuisine.
