CARIBTOURS REVAMPS DIAMOND CLUB FOR TOP AGENT SELLERS

Caribtours has relaunched its rewards programme, offering “bigger and better” benefits for its top-performing agents. The revamped loyalty scheme was unveiled at the first annual Diamond Club dinner at The Lanesborough in London. It is split into four tiers and is based on annual sales. Benefits vary by tier, but include fam trip places, free flights, vouchers and free marketing. Other perks include access to a priority number for the reservations team.

The threshold to enter the club has been raised to

£50,000 worth of bookings in a year. The four tiers are Silver (£50,000-£79,999 a year), Gold (£80,000-£149,999), Platinum (£150,00-£249,999) and Diamond (£250,000 and above). Head of trade sales Rebecca Burgess said: “We created the club

to give recognition and added benefits to our top agent partners. Our trade business is growing 20% year on year, and it’s never been a better time to celebrate our relationship with agents. There are 47 agents in the club and they bring in £12 million worth of

business for Caribtours – they are hugely important to us.” CARIBTOURS.CO.UK

WIN A SEVEN-NIGHT CRUISE FOR TWO WITH AMAWATERWAYS

LUXURY RETREATS PLEDGES TRADE SUPPORT

High-end home rental firm Luxury Retreats will continue selling through the trade despite being bought by Airbnb. The long-term plan is for Luxury Retreats’ portfolio to be integrated with the Airbnb offering, but a spokesman insisted the deal would not affect agents selling the product. He said: “Luxury Retreats is committed to partnering agents to provide a world class luxury villa rental

experience. Agents are an important channel to grow our business.” LUXURYRETREATS.COM

Luxury river cruise line AmaWaterways is offering agents the chance to win a seven-night cruise for two people. The line, which is now a platinum supplier member of Aspire, is also giving away a meal for two at a La Chaine des Rotisseurs restaurant up to the value of £250, and 10 bottles of Concerto wine. The wine is a blend of pinot noir created by the line’s co-owners Rudi Schreiner and Kristin Karst. The competition is open to Aspire agent members and agent readers of Travel Weekly. To enter the competition, visit the website shown below and answer the question. A different question will be loaded on to the webpage every week for six

weeks, giving agents six opportunities to enter. COMP.TRAVELWEEKLY.CO.UK/AMAWATERWAYS
