"Earthing naturally discharges electrical stress from our bodies. The more time people spend in conductive contact with the Earth, the better they feel "

via Bluetooth. The thermodynamic properties of the foam materials make them ideal for changes in their fi rmness setting. The foam elements are installed directly into the mattress and are, therefore, a natural component of the sleeping system. There is no need for additional pumps or other moving parts. Externally, the Tecci .science mattress is no different from conventional mattresses and it can be integrated into an existing bed system without any problem.

FoamPartner itself claimed something of a coup in the

area of sleep comfort with the EvoPoreVHRC, which it said offers an unprecedented sleeping experience that outshines the standard box-spring options, by combining all their standard comfort components and offering even higher-point elasticity. VHRC stands for very high resilience climate, and the name is fi tting.

TENCEL AND MOISTURE ABSORBTION Thanks to its fi rst-class climate resistance, EvoPoreVHRC maintains its excellent stability and consistent support throughout the night and for many years. In contrast to conventional foams, there is no need to worry about a loss of hardness. Quite the contrary. In terms of material resistance, EvoPoreVHRC exceeds standard foams and latex by up to 40 percent, and thus once again proves it is the king of premium comfort foams. As the so-called king of dreams, EvoPoreVHRC offers

more than fi rst-class comfort. It is also at the forefront when it comes to sustainability. In addition to having a much longer service life, 30 per cent less material is used in the production of this foam compared to standard foams with the same product performance. CO2 emissions are thus much lower when viewed across the product life cycle. Dermofresh have combined a natural wood-based cellulose fi bre called Tencel, laminated with a waterproof, breathable and unnoticeable polyurethane membrane in their mattress and pillow protector. Tencel naturally absorbs moisture and quickly releases it again, guaranteeing a pleasantly dry sleeping climate. This is important because, in the bedroom, the transport of moisture is determined by the climate in the room. Tencel has a 50 per cent higher moisture absorption rate than most of the other fi bres available. Diamond Mattress showcased a range of products, including latex, spring and pressed fi bre/foam versions recognised internationally for their durability, antibacterial qualities and environmental-friendliness and Stalmot and Wolmet offered a range of different sleep functions for both sofas and corner sofas, including folding versions specifi cally designed to prevent fl oor damage. And the UK-based MPT Group unveiled its New Autotufter machine, which they say, has “quite literally transformed the mattress manufacture industry”. It follows on from the original 2004 version which went on to become a world leader with the capacity to tuft 200 mattresses per eight- hour shift and the only machine of its kind in the world. MPT say the new machine, with a patented Triple Lace System will exceed the demands of any manufacturing environment, with its ability to select multiple lace lengths with auto-indexing, and work in a totally automated way. Andrew Trickett, Managing Director, said: “The triple lace system is the fi nal piece of the jigsaw, which manufacturers have been seeking.”

He added: “This latest innovation, when combined with

our new Pom Pom and Velcro washer developments means the Autotufter gives manufacturwers total fl exibility throughout their tufting process.”
