An interactive poem has been developed to support the teaching of the poem for each unit. Each poem corresponds to the theme of the associated unit. The audio version of the poem can be played to promote: • listening skills • expression and intonation • a language-learning environment. There is also a digital pencil case attached to the poem. It could be used to: • highlight rhyming words in the poem • underline information related to comprehension questions • find and circle specific words within the poem.

Static mode Toolkit Play the poem to listen to the audio and follow the highlighted words. Used to display the poem on the interactive whiteboard with no interactions. With a spotlight, grid, pen and eraser, there are many options to make use of the poem.
