Tell the story of the landing in a fi ve-frame graphic page. First, plan what each frame will show and the text that you will include. When you are happy with your plan, go to your Writing Skills Book and fi ll in the frames. You might like to look back at ‘The Radley Place’ on page 67 to see how the author told the story there.
Think about including speech bubbles to feature the most famous parts of the conversation – ‘You are go, you are go’, ‘The Eagle has landed’, ‘That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind’, ‘Magnifi cent desolation’.
You might also like to add thought bubbles. Did the astronauts – exploring the unknown and so far from the safety of planet Earth – feel fear, excitement, jubilation, or other emotions?
