We are looking to recruit CAREGivers in our local community of Kingsbridge, Ivybridge, Devon and the surrounding South Hams area.
● Car Drivers essential due to the nature of the role ● £10.00 per hour weekdays, £11.00 per hour weekends ● Double time on bank holiday ● Paid mileage & travel time ● Part time hours available which might include early mornings, lunchtimes, evenings & alternate weekends
● Holiday pay & pension scheme ● Minimum of 1-hour visits to regular clients
An award-winning employer, Home Instead Kingsbridge are looking for friendly and caring people to join our team on a part-time basis. You will be visiting older adults in their own homes and providing much needed companionship and support. Our visits are never less than one hour, ensuring that the support provided is never rushed and always tailored to the individual’s needs. Previous experience is not always necessary as we will provide you with high quality training including the Care Certificate qualification as well as the opportunity to become a Dementia Friend & Companion.
Every older adult we support is unique and our clients’ needs are very varied. Your job as a Home Instead CAREGiver is to ensure our clients stay safe, happy, and content in their own homes. This can involve -
● helping with a client’s morning routine, including preparing breakfast together ● assisting with medication prompts ● assisting with personal care such as helping to shower/wash, select clothing or to brush teeth ● taking clients for trips out, exercise, hospital appointments or to local clubs ● preparing lunch and spending time with them ● reading the newspaper together, watching a film or enjoying a singalong together on the radio ● getting them ready for their bedtime routine
AREAS WE HAVE VACANCIES IN We have part-time job vacancies, for car drivers in the Ivybridge, Kingsbridge, Plymstock, Plympton, Modbury and Yealmpton areas of South Devon.
