Use our magazines to tell your ‘story’ with a featured business profile
Sometimes the best way to generate business is ‘to tell your story ‘– who you
are, what you do, why you do what you do and how you do it better than others.
Often your normal advertising doesn’t quite get it across especially if you are trying to engage with a new audience for the first time or if repetitive advertising in print and/or social media is not yielding the returns you expected.
More trustworthy than social media
Some companies do this through social media trying to create an engaged audience where your brand and story can be developed over a lengthy period of time in the hope that many of your ‘followers’ actually become firm customers. But is social media likely to be a victim of its own success? Can you be sure your efforts
stand out from the crowd; can potential customers be persuaded to ‘trust’ your brand when trust of social media is already so low and declining - a growing body of research globally shows that less than 30% of online audiences are influenced to purchase by the advertisements they see online? 70% of UK audiences
say they don’t trust what they see on social media; are you finding that maintaining a quality dialogue with customers consumes too much time and often money? Of course, you may have many followers, but social media marketing experts agree that a good engagement rate with your posts is most often only between 1% to 5%.
Our magazines boast more followers and likes! Contrast that with By The Dart and/or The Post magazines which together reach over 8,000 local homes across Dartmouth/Kingsbridge and South Devon, mostly delivered by hand. Our magazines enjoy a readership conservatively estimated to be at least 15,000 local adults. We know from much research that the great majority of these read our magazines at length and keep them for future reference. They will even read the adverts!
