or over 20 years, Rendle & Elliott Carpentry & Joinery Ltd have been the local joinery company of choice


for Dartmouth homeowners requiring bespoke joinery or general carpentry. With a reputation for high-quality craftsmanship as standard, the firm has built a loyal customer base through word-of-mouth recommendations. One former and very satisfied client, local businessman Jeremy Robinson, was sufficiently impressed by their work on his own house that he has now bought out Adrian Rendle whose hard work and skill over the years helped create the company we see today. Jeremy has great plans for expansion of the business with his new partner Wayne Elliott. They are currently rebranding the


company under the new name Wistman’s Ltd, named after the ancient Oak woodland on Dartmoor. The company will soon be moving to much larger premises based at Heathfield, located 2 miles south east of Bovey Tracey just off the A38. They are currently based on the Nelson Road Industrial Estate in Dartmouth employing 9 carpenters and joiners. The new premises will provide more


room for their expansion plans allowing them to take on more staff and expand


the kitchen design and build side of the business under the name Wistman’s Kitchens. To help with this they are now working

On her collaboration with Wistman’s, Julia says “Finally making the move from London to the South West, I am delighted to be working with Wistman’s to create beautiful spaces in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK!
