Dart Music Festival favourite Martin Dale will be joined this year by Ronnie Scott regular Nigel Price, and elsewhere in the town the folk sounds of Lucid, The FOS brothers, and the ethereal voice of Hanna Scott give just a taste of the full programme on offer.
A veritable rhapsody of classical music can be savoured throughout the weekend, with the likes of the Volo Trio and the operatic arias of The Staircase Opera Company. Superlocrian bring us their passion for blending the sound worlds of brass and woodwind from across genres in
a fresh and exciting format, and of course the Dart Festival Chorus will be raising their voices to enthral us all. If you and the kids have a hankering to get involved then jump in with Dartmouth Orchestra’s unique open rehearsal of Peter & The Wolf on Saturday afternoon, followed by a children’s workshop, giving the kids a free musical taster and an opportunity to experience some of the musical instruments first hand. This will be a popular event, so although it is free to attend, please visit the Dartmouth Orchestra’s website to pre-
