We’re Back! D
birthday year. Taking place on 6th , 7th and 8th
art Music Festival is back by popular demand and the countdown to the 2022 festival has begun. Volunteers are already beavering away
to bring you the biggest and best ever festival, in this, its 25th
May 2022 the festival
will once again host more than 100 acts performing in over 15 venues situated all around the town. Acts will perform in venues as unique as an ancient fort, the ramparts of old castle walls, a fisherman’s church and, of course, our Victorian Bandstand. There are also open-air street-based performances making for a constant buzz of enjoyment across most musical genres and tastes. Your one-stop-shop for all things Dart Music Festival
remains our wonderfully informative and user-friendly website:
www.dartmusicfestival.co.uk. It provides you with everything you need to know about this year’s event – our extremely popular ‘Eat, Stay, Shop’ page on the website provides all you need to know about where to go, and what to do while you are in town. You can also find sections on how and where to buy our much sought after DMF branded merchandise, how to become a ‘Festival Friend’, how the music festival Foundation continues the festival’s legacy throughout the year, and the story of how the very first Dart Music Festival came about all those years ago. If you want to get ahead of the curve and have a listen
to some of the bands featuring in this year’s event, then keep your eyes open in the new year for, and subscribe to, our ‘Dart Music Festival’ YouTube channel or follow our ‘Dart Music Festival 2022’ Spotify playlist. That way you can decide who your new favourite band is before you even get here and can sing along to your new favourite songs when you see them live in May. This year, look out for the Bays Brewery (our headline sponsors) Dartmouth festivals branded, collectable and most importantly REUSABLE plastic glasses. Each plastic pint glass is branded with the Dart Music Festival logo,
...a constant buzz of
together with those of Dartmouth Royal Regatta and Dartmouth Food Festival, and can be kept and re-used throughout the event and then taken home afterwards as a memento. We strongly believe that this will help Dart Music Festival drastically reduce the amount of litter left behind long after the last notes fade away. For what IS left behind, we have retained our partnership with the pioneering people of Devon Contract Waste. Their remarkable enterprise reduces the amount of rubbish that goes into landfill to ZERO! Zero to Landfill is a sustainable solution to waste management which provides materials to the manufacturing industry and creates jobs at all stages of the processing journey. It also saves resources and energy, reduces the Southwest’s carbon footprint, and promotes a sustainable business community. Further details can be found here: www.dcw.
