VENTY
RIOBEL. ARRIVING SUMMER 2021.
Brassware with a brilliantly modern aesthetic. Introducing Riobel, from Québec, Canada, a meeting place of cultures and ideas. Inspired by the sculptural shapes of contemporary architecture, Riobel designs innovative brassware for the kitchen and bathroom.
Riobel’s founder was a plumber, from a family of plumbers. Mario Bélisle, frustrated with the taps he was given to fit, believed he could do better. He approached design from the perspective of an installer: How could a tap be easier to fit and last longer? Riobel’s reputation has been built from the grass roots, from plumber to plumber.
Riobel’s distinctive style, blending geometric shapes into beautiful yet useable forms, has won international awards. The design language of the brand can clearly be seen through its most popular ranges.
The Parabola bathroom collection, a category winner at the Grands Prix du Design, has a parabolic spout and chamfered body, giving it an entirely original profile. Glamorous in Chrome, sophisticated in Black, Parabola is the perfect centrepiece for a contemporary bathroom.
LUDIK
Riobel’s DNA is equally apparent in Venty’s sharp angles, softened by organic curves. The subtle tilt of the neck and finely pointed handle convey an elegance so often missing in modern design. An exceptional collection to build a bathroom around.
Kitchen taps can be conventional and uninspiring, but Riobel’s Solstice is a sleek and chic kitchen tap that looks dramatically different yet is effortless to use. Choose from Polished Chrome, Stainless Steel, Brushed Gold, or Black finish to make the slim profile stand out.
Riobel’s mastery of geometric forms is epitomised by Ludik. The fusion of linear and circular forms creates a dramatic architectural style. Like all Riobel taps, the advanced engineering beneath makes Ludik a perfect combination of performance and design purity.
Riobel is launching in selected European markets this Summer, including the UK. It will join Victoria + Albert, Perrin & Rowe and Shaws of Darwen in a new portfolio of kitchen and bathroom brands called the House of Rohl.
