Procedure: Dissolve ingredients from phase A and preheat to 80°C (176 °F). Dissolve ingredients from phase B and preheat to 80°C (176 °F). Add phase B into phase A under stirring and homogenise for 2 min. Cool down
to room temperature whilst stirring. Add phase C and adjust pH to 6.5 with citric acid (LIQUINAT®) *calculated with BASF Sunscreen Simulator Properties: Stability: Stable for at least 3 months at RT, 1 °C (34 °F) and 40 °C (104 °F) Appearance: off-white cream; pH: 6.4 - 6.6; Viscosity Brookfield: (Sp. 64 / 30 RPM): 3200 mPas

Procedure: Heat phase A to 85°C (185°F). Sprinkle phase B into phase A under medium stirring. Heat phase C to 75°C (167°F). Slowly emulsify phase C into phase AB whilst stirring. Homogenise for 2 min by using an Ultra Turrax®. Cool down to 35°C (95°F) and add phase D whilst stirring. Set pH value with phase E Properties: Stability: Stable for at least 3 months at RT, 5°C (41°F) and 40°C (104°F) Appearance: light yellow cream; pH value: 5.0 - 5.5; Viscosity: 65 Pa•s at s-1
