Procedure: In a beaker, weigh the water and stir at 300 rpm using a propeller blade. Add Disodium EDTA to the water. Then add the rest of the ingredients. Note: sprinkle the Aristoflex® AVC in the vortex little by little and allow time for it to dissolve properly. Measure the pH and adjust if necessary, to 5.5-6.5. Add Phase B to Phase A while increasing stirring. Add the ingredients of Phase C to Phase AB under stirring. Add the phase D ingredients under stirring.

Procedure: Add Phase A in given order to main vessel with propeller mixing. Disperse Carbopol and Aristoflex® AVC one by one with low speed. Allot time for the powders to mix to ensure no lumps form.
