Turbulence is forecast for Brazil’s sports betting bill, with lawmakers having their work cut out for them now that President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has finally put forward the government’s latest measure
(MP 1,182/2023). In total, 239 amendments to the bill were put forward in Congress before the deadline.
