Poland's IT and technology industry is thriving and Poland is home to around 60,000 technology companies. By 2022,
major tech companies like Google, Samsung, Facebook, Amazon, and Intel had established offices in Polish cities. Google Poland now employs more than 1500 workers.

Central and Eastern Europe, with a GDP of $688 billion in 2023. On a per capita basis, Poland’s output has surged to $18,000. On April 11, 2024, the World Bank raised its annual GDP
growth forecast for Poland to 3.0 per cent for the year, largely due to a rebound in private consumption. Te growth forecast for Poland in 2025 remains unchanged at 3.4 per cent, according to previous Bank predictions. Furthermore, investment growth— driven by structural reforms and unlocked EU funds—is expected to further bolster Poland's growth in 2025. Additionally, Poland's state statistical office, GUS, reported
an unadjusted annual GDP growth of 3.2 per cent for the second quarter, significantly exceeding the 2.7 per cent forecast by analysts and the 2 per cent growth recorded in the first quarter. Tis positive news was lauded by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who stated on X, "Everyone was surprised by the growth of the Polish economy in the second quarter of this year. We outperformed all the major EU countries and left the Germans far behind."
POLAND’S GROWING TECH SECTOR Te country's tech sector, especially in software development and IT services, has experienced rapid growth in recent years. Companies like CD Projekt, known for the globally successful and excellent Witcher video game series and Cyberpunk (although initially a disaster at launch) have established Poland as a centre of technological innovation. Additionally, the financial sector has expanded significantly, with Warsaw emerging as a regional hub for banking and finance. Poland's IT and technology industry is thriving and Poland is

Google Poland now employs more than 1500 workers. Amazon Web Services is also expanding its presence. Microsoft has been present in Poland since the early nineties. In 2020, it announced a $1 billion in- vestment plan there, including creating its first data centre in the region, which opened in Warsaw last year. Microsoft vice chair and President Brad Smith heaped praise on Poland during a visit in June 2024 saying: “I can tell investors: if you come from the tech world, this is the place to grow your business,”
TOURISM Poland offers a rich tapestry of history, culture, and natural beauty, making it an increasingly popular tourist destination in Europe. Among its most iconic attractions is Kraków. Visitors flock to the historic Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which features the magnificent Wawel Castle. Another significant destination is Warsaw, the capital city.
Warsaw’s Old Town, also recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site, was meticulously reconstructed after its destruction during World War II. Today tourists can explore the Royal Castle, stroll along the Vistula Boulevards, and visit the Warsaw Uprising Museum, which tells the story of the city's brave resistance during the war. Although the left bank of the Vistula was ravaged by the Nazi army, the opposite bank, especially the historic Praga quarter, was less affected. Tis has earned it the title of Warsaw’s most authentic district, which still bears witness to the city’s long history, from mansions from the second half of the 18th century and even older churches. Te natural landscapes of Poland also attracts many visitors.
