Tere are currently six casinos open in Clark, mostly lured by the tax incentives this area provides, plus the fact the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) holds governance over the area making investment simpler.
Tere are currently 650 gaming tables and 3,500 slots between the six casinos in operation. GGR in Clark amounted to PhP20.6bn in 2022 compared to PhP12.1bn in 2019.
Industry investment into the Clark Freeport zone reached US$5.5bn in the first half of 2023 including investment into gaming and tourism amongst other industries.
Tis included a US$17.6m investment at the Royce Hotel and Casino for expansion and improvement of amenities. Tis will extend the gaming floor to 27,000sq.m with space for 150 tables and 1,500 slots making it Clark’s largest gaming floor.
Te first casino to open in CFZ was the Widus Hotel and Casino in 2008 which at the time housed a modest casino with 24 tables and 150 slots.

Casino Resort, the first fully IR development north of Manila. It is housed on 13 hectares and has 130,000sq.m of gaming area now with 147 tables and 868 slots plus two VIP clubs for local and foreign players. Alongside the Widus Hotel the Hann Casino Resort is also home to the first 5-star hotel in Central Luzon, Clark Marriott and the first Swissotel in the Philippines and collectively they have 15 restaurants, cafes, and bars on site.
Meanwhile, Hann Resorts is also developing the Hann Lux near to the Hann Casino Resort which will offer two luxury hotel brands - Sofitel Clark and Emblems Clark – plus its own casino, retail, cafes, residential units, and commercial areas. Construction is expected to begin in 2025.
Over in New Clark City the Hann Resorts subsidiary Hann Development Corporation is developing the Hann Reserve, a mixed-use integrated lifestyle resort development across 450 hectares.
New Clark City is a planned ‘smart, green and resilient’ metropolis owned and managed by Bases Conversion and Development Authority and is currently under development in the Clark SEZ in the towns of Bamban and Capas in Tarlac province.

Te Tunderbird Resort and Casino in Poro Point opened in 2006 and is situated on a scenic 100ft cliff top overlooking the San Fernando Bay and West Philippine Sea. Te resort is 65 hectares and offers 70 deluxe rooms and 60 villas and casino with 359 slots and 32 tables.
Te Rizal resort is located in a valley overlooking the Sierra Madre mountain range and opened in 2005 with 110 rooms. Te casino has 22 tables and 254 slots.
