April/May, 2024 Solderstar to Spotlight New Reflow Shuttle
CLEARWATER, FL — Solder - star will introduce the newly
launched Reflow Shuttle with O2 measurement module. The Reflow Shuttle O2 stands
as a groundbreaking advance- ment in soldering process verifica- tion. It represents the first tool to
integrate real-time oxygen (O2) measurement in parts per million (ppm), vibration levels in three axes, vacuum reading, tempera- ture profiles, and conveyor speed onto a single platform. This con- solidation of critical parameters helps manufacturers make informed decisions and optimize
their reflow soldering processes with accuracy. Precise control over oxygen
levels is paramount in electron- ics manufacturing, as it directly
impacts solder joint quality. The
Reflow Shuttle O2 enables de - tailed monitoring of oxygen lev- els within each zone, allowing manufacturers to quantify nitro- gen consumption and detect process issues quickly. The system, with its seam-

specially engineered battery pack and Smartlink connector ensures continuous verification across multiple production lines without interruption. Impor tantly, the module allows for zone-by-zone analysis of oxygen levels through- out the reflow process. In addition to the Reflow
Shuttle with O2 measurement module, Solderstar will feature
its zero set-up SLX thermal pro- filer at the booth. The innovative SLX thermal profiler is designed to capture and analyze tempera- ture profiles in various soldering processes.

Pillarhouse Showcases Selective Soldering
Systems ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL — Pillarhouse International
is
showcasing its selective solder- ing systems at IPC APEX 2024. The company will exhibit
range of existing, and upcoming, handload and inline selective sol- dering systems. The handload systems on display will include the best-selling machine — the Jade MKII — as well as the all- new Jade MKV. The inline sys- tems will include the high-speed, multi-platform Orissa Fusion, and the flexible, modular Orissa Synchrodex Pro, including the upcoming Stacker Convection Heater module. The Jade MKV will serve as
an enhanced rotary, or fixed table, single point selective sol- dering system. With a PCB han- dling size of 20 x 18.1 in. (510 x 460 mm), and a programmable, adjustable nozzle pitch in the X axis, this platform has 6.8A step- per motors with built-in en - coders, replacing the less power- ful stepper and servo motor sys- tems on our current index hand- load offerings. The Stacker Convection
Heat er is an enclosed convection preheat module, which serves as a standalone or inline configura- tion, with the capability to simul-
