High-Voltage Output DC-DC Converters from TDK
NATIONAL CITY, CA — TDK Corporation has introduced its high-voltage output CHVM series of DC-DC converters. Capable of operating from a nominal 12V input, these non-isolated converters deliver output volt- ages that range from 180 to 2,000V. Low out- put ripple and noise is achieved through the use of a metallic case that provides five-sided shielding to reduce radiated emissions. The CHVM has been designed for use in
noise-sensitive applications, including photo- multiplier tubes, photodiodes, scanning elec- tron microscopes, X-ray fluorescence spec- trometers, mass spectrometers, and ultra- sonic probes. The series compris-
es 20 parts, with positive or neg- ative polarity output voltages of 180, 300, 350, 470, 1,000, 1,500, and 2,000V. The maximum output ripple
and noise level is 150 mV and typical measurements
Siborg Award Winning Multimeter Available
from Digi-Key WATERLOO, ONTARIO, CAN A - DA — Siborg Systems’ all-in-one multimeter, LCR-Reader-MPA, which won Plant Engineering’s “Product of the Year 2020” award is now available through Digi-Key Electronics
LCR-Reader MPA is a uni-
versal tweezer multimeter for an unrivaled range of applications, primarily but not limited to LCR/ESR measurements. The handheld multimeter offers 0.1 percent basic accuracy, up to 100 kHz test frequency, oscilloscope, LED/diode testing, AC/DC volt- age/current and frequency meter, signal generation, and more.
When the gold-plated tweez-
er probes are holding a compo- nent, the MPA automatically determines the type of compo- nent and best test parameters, including the test mode and fre- quency. Measurement values, in -
cluding the main and secondary impedance values are instantly available on the LCD display. The measurement parameters can also be set for specific tasks, by changing test modes, frequen- cies, signal level, etc. Easy open/short calibration eliminates parasitic offsets. Contact: Siborg Systems,

put voltage can be adjusted over a 0.5 to 100 percent range through the use of an external voltage or resistor or inhibited using the remote on/off function.
The input voltage is 11 to 13V for the 1.4
and 1.5W models, 10.8 to 16.5V for the 2W and 10.8 to 13.2V for those rated 2.5W or higher. The compact converters are available in three case sizes. All parts have over-cur- rent protection, are certified to IEC/UL/ CSA/EN 62368-1 safety standards and have the CE mark for the Low Voltage and RoHS Directives. Contact: TDK-Lambda Americas, Inc.,
