Electrical Wire Processing Tech Expo Celebrates 20 Years
Hartland, WI — The Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo (EWPTE) will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The show will be held Wednesday, May 13 and 14, 2020, at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Billed as the “Nation’s Largest Dedicated Wire Processing Event,” the show expects 200 exhibitors and 3,000 attendees. Since 2001, EWPTE has grown
into the most comprehensive resource for wire processing indus- tries, encompassing electrical wire harness, wire and cable processing, consumables, cable assemblies, cord- sets, and more.
New technologies are a key
focus and machines onsite are up and running for attendees can get hands- on experience and compare equip- ment performance. Education has always been a cornerstone of the event and this year the show is offer- ing more opportunities than ever. All seminars are free to attend. Seminars include: “Misconcep -
tions in Testing: Limits of Fault Detection,” by Christopher E. Stran - gio, CAMI Research, “Training – The Key to Profitability,” by Rob Boyd, Schleuniger, “Digital Transformation Trends in Wire Processing,” by Patrick Moroney, Komax, “Islands of Automation,” by Paul Harvell,
NEPCON China 2020 Postponed Due to Coronavirus
Beijing, China — Reed Exhibitions has announced that due to the effects of Coronavirus in China, in order to protect the health and safety of the exhibitors, NEPCON China will be tentatively postponed to June 17 to 19, 2020. The show was originally scheduled for April 22 to 24. “China has become the world’s
electronics manufacturing hub after more than 30 years of development,” commented Thomas Huang, senior vice president of Reed Exhibitions Greater China. “EMS factories in China, like Foxconn, not only import world-class SMT equipment from abroad, but also purchase from local
equipment suppliers.” Today, Chinese equipment sup-
pliers produce pick-and-place, solder- ing and inspection machines, as well as high-quality robotic equipment.“We know that the effects of Coronavirus are far-reaching, but we are confident that China will quickly recover and continue operations,” said Huang. Contact: Reed Exhibitions
