B&K Precision Intros High-Speed Multifunctional Recorders

Yorba Linda, CA — B&K Precision has expanded its Data Recorder line with its DAS30/50/60 family. The instruments were developed by B&K’s subsidiary Sefram in France, which specializes in the design and manufacture of data acquisition instruments and other test and measurement solutions. The DAS30/50/60 data recor -

ders offer a fast sampling interval of one microsecond (1 MSa/s), a wide

AEC-Q100 Qualified Gate Drivers from Power Integrations

San Jose, CA — Power Integrations has launched its automotive-quali- fied SID1181KQ SCALE-iDriver™ gate driver for 750V-rated IGBTs. The new part expands the com-

pany’s range of auto-qualified driver ICs, following the introduction of the 1,200V SID1182KQ driver IC. Compact, efficient and highly

robust, the new driver IC uses the company’s high-speed FluxLink™ communications technology to ensure system safety even during fault conditions. FluxLink technolo- gy dramatically improves the relia-

input range of ±5 mV to ±500V and a large solid state memory of up to 64 GB.

Combined with its CAT III iso-

lation rating, these instruments are well-suited for a wide range of appli- cations from small sensor signal log- ging to electrical power analysis. The built-in power analysis

application measures and records voltage and current on both single- and three-phase networks. The results are displayed as a harmonics graph, Fresnal diagram and the oscilloscope waveform.

Pt100/Pt1000 inputs are a fac-

tory option on the DAS30 and DAS50 models and standard for the DAS60.

The integrated thermal printer is a factory option on all three models. Compared with similar data

recorders on the market, these instruments offer a number of ad - van tages, such as high-speed sam- pling intervals, significantly longer battery life, a larger touchscreen,

and larger standard memory. Contact: B&K Precision Corp.,

bility and isolation capability of the new AEC-Q100-qualified gate driv- ers, replacing optocouplers and capacitive or silicon-based inductive- ly coupled solutions. SCALE-iDriver devices also

include critical protection features, such as desaturation monitoring, pri- mary and secondary undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and advanced soft shutdown (ASSD) that protect the switch during short circuit turnoff. SCALE-iDriver ICs minimize

the number of external components required, eliminating tantalum and electrolytic capacitors and simplify- ing the isolated power supply, requir- ing only one transformer secondary winding. A simple two-layer PCB can be used, further increasing design simplicity and easing supply chain

management. Contact: Power Integrations,
