ASM Launches DEK TQ Printing Platform
Suwanee, GA — ASM has presented its latest generation of stencil print-
clamping system, and an enhanced printhead it achieves an externally certified wet printing accuracy
rating of ±17.5 µm at 2 Cpk ASM has also minimized
the need for operator assistance with an average time of eight hours between assists. In addition, the DEK TQ of-
fers exceptional investment pro- tection. It can be integrated into the smart SMT factory quickly and easily, due to its open inter- faces.
The DEK TQ offers broad DEK TQ stencil printer.
ers, the DEK TQ, designed to set new records for performance and preci- sion. The system offers a core cycle time of five seconds, with a footprint of 4.3 x 3.3 ft (1.3 x 1m). With precise linear drives, off-belt printing, new
connectivity. To exchange data with other line components or higher-level IT systems, the printing platform offers a multi- tude of standard interfaces, such as IPC Hermes 9852, closed-loop to SPI, ASM OIB, and IPC CFX, making it well-suited to join the company’s lineup of systems for
the integrated smart factory. Contact: ASM Assembly Sys- tems, 3975 Lakefield Court, Suite

Intros Vortik Progressive Cavity Pumps
Carlsbad, CA — Nordson ASYMTEK, a part of Nordson ELECTRONICS SOLUTIONS, has launched its Vor- tik™ family of progressive cavity pumps (PCPs). The pumps offer, reportedly, the smallest deposi- tions possible on the market. The VPs, VPm and VPg pumps rely on positive displacement to provide continuous needle dis- pensing of one- and two-compo- nent fluids with high volumetric accuracy, reliability and low cycle time.
According to the company,
at 0.2 ml/s, the Vortik VPs offers the lowest flowrate and smallest deposition across all progressive cavity pumps currently available — delivering precise control of narrow lines and small shots for two-component mixed fluids. The company has also launched
Vortik’s “Advanced Calibration As- sist,” with patent-pending ARC™ technology that ensures high volu- metric dispense accuracy for one- and two-component applications. Software-based ARC technology is
designed to take the guesswork out of application set-up. With ARC, the user can quickly determine optimal settings, such as mix ratios, without
