and compatibility with safety intelli- gence components, the RV-8CRL is extremely versatile in its applications, including pick-and-place, inspection and general assembly. The robot is designed for OEMs
and end users with a focus on easy implementation, robust safety options and little downtime and maintenance. Its internal wiring and piping make it easy to install, while its IP65 rating verifies that it is protected from dust and water projected from a nozzle, widening application suitability. The RV-8CRL also includes
auxiliary components for safety, such as MELFA Safe Plus. This compo- nent, using additional sensors, reduces its speed and limits the range of the robot up to a full stop when people or objects are detected in close proximity. Also, its battery- less internal encoders eliminate the need for battery backup, allowing it to maintain the same settings with-
out a battery. Contact: Mitsubishi Electric
