Putting children’s safety first


The RYA safeguarding team has signed UNICEF’s International Safeguards for Children in Sport pledge. It cements our commitment to support clubs and RYA- recognised training centres in ensuring that all children are safe when participating in sporting activities. We have also achieved an overall rating of ‘Good’, with several areas ‘Very Good’, in our most recent Child Protection in Sport review. Furthermore, we’ve been awarded Ann Craft Trust accreditation, which demonstrates our commitment to safeguarding adults in sport, too.
