Commercial High Temperature Heat Pumps


by Carrier Carrier’s AquaForce 61CA is an air-source heat pump that is the premium solution for large buildings and local and district heating networks.


The 61CA features a fixed-speed screw compressor and has an ambient operating range of -20°C and +35°C. It offers a heating output of up to 410kW and can generate high temperatures up to 82°C.


This high-performance heat pump has several Carrier-manufactured components, such as the speed-controlled fans and tube heat exchanger for heat recovery. Plus, with the environment in mind, this air-source heat pump operates on Hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) R-1234yf refrigerant - a refrigerant with a zero- ozone depletion potential and an ultra-low Global Warming Potential (GWP) index of 4.

Two-stage Screw Compressor


Carrier’s AquaForce® 61CA heat pump is equipped with a semi-hermetic, two-stage compact screw compressor specially designed for the intended operating conditions. With a newly developed, asymmetrical high-performance profile, these twin- shaft rotary displacement machines achieve the highest efficiency levels and maximum service life in continuous operation. There are no oscillating components so it can be run with low vibration, low noise, and virtually no wear.

Carrier’s AquaForce 61CA comes ready to connect to Carrier’s cloud-based monitoring services, which provides customers with a dashboard of metrics for a real-time, intuitive and comprehensive view of the heat pump’s performance. This makes it possible to optimise energy and provide heating when and where it is needed in line with actual and forecasted demand.


The vacuum’s user-friendly design includes an ON/ OFF switch, eco!efficiency mode, and an LED display on the handle that indicates the remaining battery runtime. Its low ground clearance makes it easy to clean under beds and furniture. While the Kärcher Battery Power+ battery and charger are sold separately, an optional HEPA-14 filter is available for enhanced air filtration, making the vacuum suitable for environments requiring high hygiene standards.
