OCTO is Ansell Lighting’s revolutionary smart lighting solution, combining cutting-edge wireless technology with user-centric design to create smarter, more efficient lighting environments.
Delivering unparalleled control and flexibility, OCTO enables settings such as colour temperature, brightness levels and scheduling to be automated for maximum convenience and energy efficiency. It also offers market- leading features such as voice activation and hands- free controls for a quick and easy customised lighting experience as well as integration with motion sensors for responsive lighting control.
Enabling the system to be tailored specifically to the application, Ansell provides two different OCTO solutions. OCTO Connected by WiZ, which has been created specifically for residential or small-scale commercial applications, and OCTO Powered by Casambi which is designed for larger commercial or industrial environments. Both offer the same trusted and reliable functionality and come with an expansive ecosystem of products suited to their setting. Smart lamps, wall and ceiling lights, strip lighting, downlighting, outdoor lighting and various smart switches, sensors and controllers are all available for OCTO Connected by WiZ, whilst commercial products such as track lighting, high/low bay, linears, battens and modulars are available with OCTO Powered by Casambi functionality.
To support monitoring and maintenance in commercial environments, Ansell Lighting also provides users with access to critical data and analytics through its management dashboard, OCTO Insight. This dashboard delivers real-time data and actionable insights, enabling users to make informed decisions about lighting and energy usage. By predicting and managing site performance and expenditure, OCTO Insight helps reduce operational costs and ensures compliance with emergency lighting regulations.
