Aircuity reduces energy and carbon emissions while creating healthier indoor environments in commercial buildings. The patented, multiplexed demand control ventilation platform continuously optimises ventilation rates by monitoring and controlling the air to science- based air quality targets. Signals are sent back to the building automation system to increase or lower ventilation rates and customers also receive intelligent data which is used by a wide variety of constituents.
Aircuity helps customers meet carbon emission reduction goals and reduce HVAC energy use by up to 60% in labs and 15-30% in other commercial spaces such as offices, classrooms, arenas and more. Critical spaces use five to ten times more air than a typical office building, and optimising the airflow based on current needs reduces energy use. Aircuity projects in labs, vivaria and clean rooms usually result in a payback period of less than three years. Having Aircuity installed also creates a safer environment in research labs by providing the ability to increase ventilation rates when there is a spill above those typically used as set air change rates, establishing a healthy IAQ again faster and more effectively.
