12:00 - 13:00 Satellite Symposium:

Ecolab

12:30 - 13:00 Introducing Intellicare

Hand washing is the single most effective way to prevent the spread of infection. This presentation demonstrates how IntelliCare provides a complete hand care solution and re-imagines the way hand hygiene is performed and managed, enabling healthcare workers to respond to every critical hygiene moment.

13:00 - 13:30 Introducing Oxivir With increasing evidence that environmental cleaning and disinfection may be playing an even larger role in reducing the

spread of avoidable infections than previously thought, the view on environmental hygiene is changing, and so is the range of product options available. With so much choice, healthcare cleaning professionals are now looking for the ideal disinfectant. One that is proven to kill the key pathogens of concern in healthcare, without user and patient health and safety trade-offs. These needs are all leading to a new interest in the benefits of accelerated hydrogen peroxide (AHP).

The future of permanent pumps

The European standard of hand hygiene dispensers in a clinical context is characterized by a standardised, open source system called the Euro Bottle. Historically, Euro Bottle dispensing systems in hospitals have used stainless steel pumps that are cleaned and reprocessed, but never disposed – while the bottle and hand care product inside is always swapped. New legislation in European countries is forcing the market to reconsider permanent pumps. In our presentation we show the pros and cons for durable, stainless steel pumps and disposable plastic pumps and their strengths for in different clinical environments. Special attention will be given to hygiene, economy and environmental aspects.

This presentation will focus on common pitfalls which support unintentional transmission of environmental microorganisms to the patient, and will briefly review potentially emerging strategies outside existing guidelines.

Healthcare Cleaning LAB

This session is about hand drying hygiene.

The waste management program of RAI Amsterdam achieved a 100% recycling and a 62% onsite waste separation in the last decade. Outstanding numbers for our industry! Their new goals are to improve and implement circularity by creating products of its own waste. Sounds great, but this doesn’t happen by itself. During this seminar you will find our how the RAI will achieve this.

Linkwell Deutschland GmbH is mainly specialised in manufacturing disinfectants, but we also make great efforts to manufacture all kinds of dispensers that improve hand hygiene compliance, ranging from ordinary holders to advanced automatic dispensers.
