AN EXCITING PROGRAMME As the professional cleaning and hygiene industry’s global showcase, Interclean Amsterdam is renowned for exhibiting innovative products, services and solutions. Complementing this throughout the show will be a comprehensive seminar schedule, providing insight on the latest trends and developments. An outstanding line-up of expert speakers will be sharing their knowledge in varied sessions and events across a number of stages.

Rob Den Hertog, Director of Professional Cleaning & Hygiene at RAI Amsterdam, stated: "Once again, our seminars and workshops will offer visitors the chance to gain expert insight into their cleaning challenges and discover the innovations that will drive the future success of their businesses."

The Facility Inspiration Event (16 May) is a special day of events dedicated to helping facilities managers improve their performance; and the Robot Arena has live demonstrations of the latest robot cleaners taking on a series of challenges.

Waste is the essential raw material of The Zero Waste LAB. A workshop – ‘Anatomy of the waste bin’ – runs every day, giving visitors a hands-on opportunity to discover how to reduce their waste footprint.

The Healthcare Cleaning LAB offers a dedicated platform for sharing best practice and innovation. A realistic hospital room mock-up will host live product and technique demonstrations daily.

THE INTERCLEAN STAGE Located in the Elicium Ballroom, the Interclean Stage is central to the knowledge sharing and networking opportunities available. A range of free sessions will explore innovation, new regulations and standards, and participation in the growing circular economy. The Interclean Stage will also host the Healthcare Cleaning Satellite Symposium on 17 May.

A special ceremony acknowledging outstanding achievement opens Interclean, with the presentation of the Amsterdam Innovation Award on 15 May. The overall winner of the award – and of each of the four categories – will be announced. Visitors have a special role to play by voting for their favourite innovation – via Intercleanshow.com – and the winner will receive the Visitors' Choice certificate.

Free sessions enable visitors to explore products, services and concepts in greater depth. At the InnovationLAB, Vincent Everts will deliver a seminar on the impact of new technologies on existing markets, entitled ‘Trendwatcher: Which Developments Should We Look Out For?’ on 15 and 16 May. New business models, Robots and Apps, the Innovation Award nominees and other popular topics will be on Vincent’s insightful agenda.

MIXING BUSINESS WITH PLEASURE As well as hosting halls full of exhibitors demonstrating their products and services, Interclean Amsterdam 2018 will provide plenty of opportunity for entertainment and relaxation.

The event will also feature new areas designed for visitors to rest, relax and even network. These include the Refresh lounge, where attendees will find beds for taking a quick break and easy access to healthy food.

Interclean Amsterdam 2018 is all set to be the biggest and best edition of the show yet – and the ideal place to discover the innovations that will become the future of the industry.
