EMCO UK LTD Unit 24, Atcham Business Park Upton, Magna, Shrewsbury, SY4 4UG, United Kingdom T: 0870 161 16 17 F: 0870 161 16 18 E: enquiries@emcouk.co.uk W: www.emcouk.co.uk emco - designing clean entrances. Exceptional variety and design-oriented functionality. The first impression on entering a building plays a crucial part in the overall effect on the visitor. Entrance areas therefore require an environment that combines a welcoming atmosphere with aesthetics and functionality. We offer individual, tailor-made dirt removal systems, based on our 3-zone cleaning system concept, that trap up to 90% of dirt and moisture as people walk across them. They make a significant contribution to a pleasant reception environment and long-lasting protection of the surrounding floor coverings, as well as to a significant reduction in cleaning work throughout the building. Entrance mat systems can be supplied with rounded or angled designs and cut-outs, according to the architectural and structural requirements. The wide range of colours makes it possible to create both harmonising and contrasting designs. To increase the exclusivity of the entrance area, a large number of additional components are available, such as a LED illuminated frame system, or a stainless-steel profile with a laser-engraved personalised name.

RECOFLOOR Tudor House, Meadway, Bramhall, SK7 2DG T: 0161 355 7618 E: info@recofloor.org W: www.recofloor.org

Recofloor is the UK’s national vinyl flooring recycling scheme, established by leading flooring manufacturers Altro and Polyflor. The scheme has recycled more than 1,260 tonnes of waste vinyl flooring since its 2009 inception.

Waste vinyl material is collected from flooring contractors, construction sites, schools, hospitals, large PFI sites. Recofloor accepts clean post-installation vinyl made by any manufacturer and smooth uplifted vinyl as long as it meets specifications.

Smooth and safety off-cuts are recycled back into new flooring products. Smooth uplifted flooring goes back into traffic calming products such as cones and sign bases. Recofloor’s 470-plus members across the UK and Ireland comprise flooring contractors and drop-off sites at flooring distributors. The scheme’s flexibility enables all supply chain sectors to engage in recycling. This helps local authorities, distributors, contractors and facilities managers to divert growing volumes of waste vinyl flooring from landfill - reducing disposal costs and helping firms to meet their sustainability goals.
