Ionic Liquid-Based Sensors with Extended Service Life for Hydride Detection
Sensorix has developed electrochemical gas sensors based on ionic liquids for their OEM customers. As organic salts, Ionic Liquids (ILs) are characterised by their very low vapour pressure and high thermal stability. These properties enable ionic liquids to remain in a liquid state across a broad temperature spectrum, making them ideal electrolytes for electrochemical sensors. Consequently, these sensors exhibit extended operational lifespans and are well-suited for applications in harsh environments. The following sensor types for OEMs are currently available:
