Numerous Local Authority Service Contracts Won
ESU1 Ltd, founded in 2011, has won numerous local authority service contracts over the past 18 months, and has recently moved into a new workshop/office to accommodate this expansion. Chris Clooney, Projects Director, stated “We are proud to provide quality service/maintenance contracts based on unbeatable customer service to Local Authorities, environmental consultants, equipment suppliers and most notably one of the largest mining concerns in the world. In recent months we have secured the rights to supply service and Maintenance contracts to St. Helens council, Wycombe DC, and South Buckinghamshire Council to name a few”.
ESU1 Ltd uniquely offer GPT, 24 hour call out response and PAT testing as standard. Chris Clooney, Projects Director, added “in this economic climate there seems to be a slash and burn approach to pricing. This can only lead to the analysers, and more importantly, data capture rates suffering as corners are cut to save money. We have a different approach. We are offering cost effective packages based on the unbeatable quality measures that we have introduced into our service contracts such as; 24 hour callout response rather than 48 hour, weekend response, GPT/ PAT testing and dedicated customer call back guarantee ALL as standard.”
To ensure quality is delivered, ESU1 Ltd have applied for ISO:9001 accreditation, and have already started the auditing process.

An Ambient Monitor for 24hr Operation
The Environmental Particulate Air Monitor (EPAM-5000) requires no special skills or tools and can be easily setup in minutes, for measuring Particulate Matter PM-10, PM-2.5, PM-1.0 or Total Suspended Particulates. It records a complete real-time profile with data read out in milligrams per cubic metre (mg/m3).
Combining both a real-time monitor and filter holder for gravimetric analysis it allows more accuracy in defining and analysing the nature and magnitude of potential health risk, resulting from inhalation of lung damaging particulates.
When the EPAM-5000 is deployed the sample air stream first passes through the light scattering sensor where particulate concentration is registered electronically, then the air stream passes directly through a 47mm gravimetric filter located directly behind the optical sensor.
Housed in a rugged watertight carrying case for ambient air monitoring, the EPAM-5000 offers a 24-hour rechargeable battery for portable flexibility and runs as a continuous monitor when used with the supplied AC power supply.
All the real time data is stored in the monitor’s memory and this can be viewed on the LCD display or downloaded to a PC, using the software package included, for graphical and statistical analysis.

Customers Retain Technology They Trust
Developed from Monitor Labs technology, Air Quality Monitors Ltd provides UK customers with all Ecotech (Australia) 9800 spare parts and consumables. These parts are compatible in ME / ML and EC 9800 analysers and combined with Air Quality Monitors Ltd's (AQM) local support network, enables companies to retain their tested and trusted machines for years to come. In choosing Ecotech’s 9800 parts, customers are able to use parts or instruments which have evolved from Monitor Labs technology, thus having the option to maintain or modify their current instruments as much as befits them whilst still using the technology they trust.
AQM Ltd also offers upgrade options to 9800 customers. For those customers that do not want to replace their analyser, they offer an opportunity to upgrade to an EC9800. Benefits to the improvements that Ecotech has made to the 9800 range are that by choosing to upgrade, analysers receive USB communication, network support for TCP/IP, improved data logging and the knowledge that Ecotech firmware is continuously improved as new features become added.
Adam Gray (Sales Director) "In offering customers the widest choice for their instruments through either maintaining, upgrading or replacing, we are allowing customers to make the decision that is right for their network at the right time. The benefit of investing in EC9800 parts is that they allow for the choice to either maintain the trusted instruments they already possess, or to bring instruments up to the competitive standards of modern technology affordably."
