New Global Mycotoxin Regulations Tool Provides Instant Access to Worldwide Regulatory Data


Waters Corporation (USA) recently announced VICAM, a Waters Business, introduced a single-source on-line, tool that provides access to a comprehensive, simple-to-use database of global mycotoxin regulations at commodityregs.com.


Food exporters around the world face the growing challenge of ensuring that their products meet evermore demanding standards in their target markets. The USDA, FDA, EU, and other international government agencies impose specific regulations and guidelines for acceptable levels of mycotoxins. IONICON selects RJ Lee Group as Exclusive U.S. Distributor for Real-Time Trace Gas Analysis Products


IONICON Analytik (Austria), specialist manufacturer of PTR-MS real-time trace gas analysers recently announced that RJ Lee Group, Inc. materials characterisation laboratory and industrial forensics consulting firm has become the exclusive U.S. distribution partner for IONICON’s Trace Gas Analysis products including the Proton Transfer Reaction - Mass Spectrometer (PTR- MS) trace gas analyser.


PTR-MS, when launched by IONICON in 1998 revolutionised direct and online analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Before that, cost and time consuming chemical methods were applied that did not provide such a high time-resolution nor sensitivity. This highly sensitive analyser allows real-time monitoring of trace gases and VOCs at the parts per trillion levels. IQ and OQ Cerification for LiquiSonic Analysers


SensoTech (Germany) offers special qualification and validation procedures for its LiquiSonic concentration analysers. To ensure a proper system installation, an implementation of the installation qualification (IQ) is recommended. A subsequent operational qualification (OQ) completes the qualification and validation process.
