New Generation of Meters for pH and Conductivity Measurement

Metrohm presents the 912 Conductometer, the 913 pH Meter and the 914 pH/Conductometer, a new generation of meters for pH and conductivity measurement. The new meters are every inch ‘Metrohm’, robust, reliable, and remarkably simple to use.

The new Metrohm meters are two in one: precision instruments for the laboratory and robust companions for mobile use in the fi eld and the process. During fi eld use the new meters are powered by batteries. Afterwards, they can be recharged, even on the road on the cigarette lighter with the use of an adapter.

Faster, more pre cise pro gram ma ble con trol!

From the leader in laboratory press es, 15 to 100 ton clamp ca pac i ties, in te gral electrically op er at ed hydraulic pow- er unit, safety shields, heated plat ens (optional). Send for catalog.

Two-in-one applies to the performance of the new meters, too: parallel measurement of pH and conductivity with the 914 pH/Conductometer; parallel recording of two pH values with the 913 pH Meter. Both versions indicate the temperature(s) of the sample(s). The 912 Conductometer measures the conductivity, salinity and temperature of the sample.

Ergonomic design makes sure the new meters fi t comfortably in one hand. Each key on the clearly organised user interface comes with a secure pressure point. Hence, the meters can be operated intuitively with one‘s left or right thumb while the one‘s other hand remains free to hold the electrode(s) in the medium in which the measurement is done.

The new Metrohm meters wouldn’t be Metrohm, if they weren’t extremely robust: all three versions meet the requirements of IP67.

Back in the offi ce the meter is simply plugged in at the USB port of the PC and the collected data is exported straight to the LIMS or Excel or can be managed in tiBase, the Metrohm titration software.

High Capacity Oven for FISH Probe Hybridisation Introduced

SciGene have introduced the CytoBrite Slide Oven, a 60-slide convection incubator for performing extended or overnight FISH/ISH probe hybridisations.

The CytoBrite Slide Oven has the capacity of fi ve Thermobrite instruments in 60% less bench space. The oven has fi ve pull-out drawers that each receive two 6-slide removable trays from the CytoBrite Slide Incubation System or CytoBrite Duo System.

Slides are uniformly heated without humidifi cation with the use of CytoBond Removable Coverslip Sealant.
