Memmert VARIO meets any Specific Customer Demand

The VARIOdesign team, as well as the test centre VARIOlab are always available when it comes to individual customer-specific solutions and process tests in Memmert temperature control appliances.

The individual requests of users of climate chambers, heating ovens and incubators are diverse: heavy samples, specified requests concerning the gas concentration, air exchange, air pressure or light intensity, special dimensions, wall-fittings as well as individual components like assembly lines, pass-through ovens, cameras, weighing cells or tailor-made entry ports. By offering an extensive range of equipment, diverse options as well as solutions for customisation, the Memmert VARIOteam adapts standard appliances to special needs. As one standard model always serves as the basis, our customers still profit from the full guarantee period and our solutions are economic, technologically advanced and absolutely solid.

Exemplary solution 1: Climate test chamber for extreme conditions

Inline capable pass-through oven

A renowned institute for clinical research and development was looking for a climate chamber, which could reliably cover an extensive bandwidth of temperature/humidity combinations. In addition, in order to keep the climate conditions on a constant level, the operators should be able to operate the medical devices inside the chamber from the outside without having to open the door. Therefore, one viewing window and two entry ports were installed in the door of a Memmert climatic test chamber CTC. Now, the climatic test chamber can be equipped with gloves. In order to reach chamber-dependent, physical limits, such as an interior temperature of +12 °C and a relative humidity of less than 25 % and in order to restore them as quickly as possible after opening the door, the Memmert VARIOteam integrated an adjustable compressed air drying unit.

Exemplary solution 2: Weighing unit

In cooperation with a Swiss developer, Memmert brought to market maturity an appliance that tests the melting behaviour of ice cream. The key requirements for the climatic test chamber were a sensitive, uniform and fluctuation-free temperature control, the avoidance of mechanical impacts, as well as uniform conditions during measurement for all samples. For the integration of a camera system and the weighing cells, Memmert developed perfectly adapted control electronics.
