Now available with a 4-litre capacity in the same footprint as a traditional 3-litre centrifuge, Thermo Scientific™ general purpose centrifuges allow you to process 4 x 1 litres, 40 x 50 mL conical tubes, 196x5/7ml blood tubes, or 28 microplates all with the NEW Thermo Scientific™ TX-1000 rotor and multi-purpose bucket.
With the TX-1000 rotor you can: • Save time and reduce energy by processing more tubes in less runs. • Ensure smooth runs with minimal vibration and reduce regular maintenance steps with Slide Coat anti-friction finish, designed to eliminate the need for lubrication at the contact point between the rotor cross and bucket. Its corrosion-resistant properties also help promote longer rotor life and enhanced safety.
• Improve aerodynamics, compared to previous rotor generations, with diamond-cut bucket technology – each bucket has 45 facets on the outside to reduce the weight.
