 Ovens and Incubators to Meet all Needs

All Jeiotech ovens and incubators have stainless steel interiors with rounded corners and a magnetic door seal with two shelves included as standard. The three nominal sizes are 50, 100 and 150L. Programming is via the keypad with and LED read out of both set and actual temperature with delayed start or countdown to switch off options. All units, except the E series, include Labtracer software allowing for both data logging and programming via PC.

The incubators come with or without cooling and use either a convection fan based system or a film cartridge heater coating the chamber providing draft free operation ideal for drying powders. The cooled versions come in two sizes 150 or 244L operate between 0-60c whilst the non-cooled operate between amb +5 to 70c. The ovens operate between amb+5 ~ 250c using either natural or convection heating systems. The vacuum ovens come in two sizes of 28 and 65l with a toughened glass inspection window.

purposely designed with basic functions. It can be purchased alone, as an immersion bath or re-circulation temperature control machine. All models use natural refrigerants, are environmentally friendly and save energy.

models are suitable for countless laboratory uses, such as samples, preparation, analysis, materials testing, as well as external temperature control of measuring equipment or experiments. The MPC®

models reach a stability

of +-0.05°C and are fitted with over temperature and low level protection, meeting safety class III/FL (DIN 12876), and are therefore suitable for use with flammable fluids. The circulation pump has a performance of 20l/min; 0.2 Bar (Pressure) and 17l/min; 0.18 Bar (Suction). Models are available with Polycarbonate baths (up to 100°C) or insulated steel baths (up to 200°C). The bath volumes are from 2 to 25 litres. Refrigerated baths fitted with the MPC®

range feature an RS232 interface and an external PT100 connection. Controllers generate up to 350 watts of cooling

power, depending on the model and cover a temperature range of -30°C to 200°C. The heating power is 2.0Kw for all models. ‘Advanced’ models in the MPC®

Test Chamber Improves Accuracy of Inhaler Testing

Thermotron has developed a state-of-the-art Impactor Test Chamber to improve accuracy and repeatability of inhaler and nebuliser product testing. By designing a sophisticated, dual- compartment environmental enclosure, Thermotron is able to precisely control temperature and humidity conditions. New developments in US and European Pharmacopeia testing criteria assisted in shaping this configuration. The test chamber includes two separate, independently controlled test spaces: one compartment for conditioning the temperature and humidity surrounding the nebulizer or inhaler, and one for cooling the impactor. Inside the nebuliser/inhaler compartment, temperatures range between 0ºC and 40ºC and humidity ranges between 30% to 90% RH. Temperatures within the impactor test space can be controlled down to 0ºC. An adjustable shelf in the impactor compartment allows interface with two different types of impactors: the Next Generation Impactor (NGI) and the Andersen Cascade Impactor (ACI). This versatility of testing various environmental conditions sets Thermotron’s Impactor Test Chamber apart from other test solutions.

Proposed revisions to US and European test standards highlight the negative effect evaporative loss can have on accuracy. Impactor related heat loss can cause evaporation, which reduces droplet size and results in artificially low particle size measurement. The Thermotron Imactor Test Chamber cools the impactor in a controlled environment and/or encloses the inhaler device in a temperature and humidity conditioned environment, reducing the potential for evaporation of aqueous droplets after aerosolisation and improves accuracy. The chamber can host multiple impactors for pre-conditioning, potentially reducing time required for receiving FDA approval.

A Kilo a Day

The all-new Masterwave BTR benchtop reactor from Anton Paar for the first time transfers microwave synthesis to the kilolab. A revolutionary technique allows for efficient microwave heating of a 1L vessel. Productivity in your lab is considerably increased: Depending on your sample, you can process up to 1 kilo per day. The reactor’s magnetically driven overhead stirrer provides independent stirring regimes for individual content.

Due its rising-sensor temperature measurement technique, Masterwave BTR features the high temperature accuracy required for direct method transfer from any smaller microwave device. Masterwave BTR Features: 1700 W microwave power; 1L PTFE reaction vessel for utmost

productivity; reaction conditions up to 250°C and 30 bar; integrated overhead paddle stirrer; rising PT100 temperature sensor; internal closed-cycle cooling system for efficient cooling; and it fits in any standard fume hood The Masterwave BTR benchtop reactor for the first time moves microwave synthesis to the kilolab. Depending on your sample, productivity in your lab is increased up to 1 kilo per day.
