18 MAY 2021 - 19:15: Two unusual offshore supply vessels popped in for a cake and a sandwich. And other sustenance. Called Maker (27.4m) and Arriver (20.6m) they executed a pincer movement on Dartmouth’s defenceless fuel barge. Mind you, the fuel barge had the last laugh when they presented the bill

14 MAY 2021 - 17:04:03 Yet another crane comes into, or back into, the river, escorted by this little dory. Not sure what the marine term for being mown down is. But you wouldn’t want it.


13 MAY 2021 - 22:21:25 An expedition superyacht sailed in. Called Aumichakiad, it’s 38m long. What’s an expedition superyacht ? Well, it’s a luxury boat that looks like a trawler. The luxury is on the inside, the idea being the craft can brave more extreme elements whilst passengers inside don’t have to.


28 APRIL 2021 - 16:49:45 Look to the left and see the treefeller atop a remaining stump. Then look to the right and see the trunk flying through the air. Three days of serious sawing and craning ended the sight of the magnificent trees along Bridge Road.
