MEMBER ZONE SUPPORT FOR LOCAL CHARITIES
A Northamptonshire PR company has been supporting its charity clients to help them meet new challenges in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. Pilkington Communications has
been working with Northants Chamber of Commerce members, Teamwork Trust and The Lewis Foundation, to adjust their broader communication planning so that it takes into account the new, temporary reality. Both charities provide very

different but equally important services and, like many organisations, have had to make radical changes to their strategy and tactics (in particular their channels and messages), during this time.
committed to supporting local organisations, so it’s been a particular pleasure working with these two charities and knowing we are making a difference at a time when everything feels so uncertain and unsteady. Both charities have needed help to get the tone of voice right, as well as knowing what to announce, when and to whom. All this can feel like a minefield, so we have been on hand to help them reassure and educate their service-users,
volunteers, staff and funders. We are hugely proud to work with both The Lewis Foundation and Teamwork Trust.” Lorraine Lewis, CEO of The Lewis Foundation said: “Before the outbreak, Pilkington
Communications were helping us plan a big fundraising event. We definitely intend to revive these plans when all this is over, but for now the demand for our gift packs for cancer patients has increased more than ever, and we have to be communicating that. “Thanks to Pilkington Communications, we
have already revamped our website and are about to launch a new e-newsletter. These channels will complement our social media activity and help us communicate to our stakeholders more effectively.” To help businesses during Covid-19, Pilkington
Communications is offering fellow Chamber members free communications (including social media) support and consultation up to 30 minutes (over the phone or via Zoom).

LEAFSTEM WELCOMED AS NEW A CHAMBER MEMBER
Leafstem, a new management counseling company entering the European and UK market, is excited to join as new members of the Northamptonshire Chamber. To resolve deep-running business issues, or to
develop effective management strategies, Leafstem offers a method called Organisational Constellations. It is a counseling and analytical technique which has been practiced for more than 20 years and used efficiently by large multinational companies. Despite its success, Organisational Constellations has remained more of an insider tip to solving a large spectrum of diverse business aspects, from structural, organizational and human issues, and is yet not largely known. The constellation method is very technical and quite
complex to explain, yet is an extremely quick and time-efficient way to get to the core of issues disrupting a business. It can be used to identify the best direction to take a business in uncertain times, to uncover the hidden dynamics within a firm that are disrupting process, and to analyse the options and uncover the right solutions to the myriad of questions that face leaders across industries. Leafstem delivers team-sessions (workshop with minimum five people) or interview sessions (one-four people). Previous attendees at a Leafstem workshop discussed their experience, saying, “We all felt where the problems
were and where we needed to go to solve them. It just came naturally. The open discussions and frankness that came from each and every one was enlightening. It also created a new kind of relationship in our team.” The Organisational
Constellations method quickly provides an overviewing vision; it helps to resume the key points of an action plan, to design appropriated
responses and, very much needed in the current situation, it helps to manoeuvre through a storm of uncertain elements.
