CHAMBER EVENTS

NETWORKING LUNCH Our popular lunches give attendees the ideal opportunity to drive forward their business whilst enjoying a three-course lunch. Each table is assigned a table host who will ensure everyone gets the

chance to introduce themselves and their business. During the event attendees will be invited to move tables to enable them to network with fresh faces on each course. Northamptonshire Chamber chief executive Paul Griffiths said:

“Networking is an effective way of meeting and making new contacts as well as providing the opportunities to build on existing relationships. “Our Networking Lunches are always very popular and give attendees

the chance to meet with key decision makers from local businesses and the opportunity to promote their company to a ready-made audience.” Two members are also selected, by a draw, to present their company to

all the guests.

BUSINESS EXHIBITION The Chamber’s popular bi-annual event regularly attracts hundreds of businesses. As well as an exhibition it features a Business Before Hours networking event, a networking lunch and two free business seminars delivered by Chamber members. Head of operations Tracey Griffiths said: “Our Business Exhibitions are

always very well attended because they are ideal for businesses that are looking to forge new contacts, raise their profile and extend their business knowledge. “The exhibition is open to both members and non-members of the Chamber and attendees even get the chance to win one year’s free Chamber membership. “Visitors who are interested in more formal networking are invited to

book on to the networking lunch where they will meet up to 60 business contacts over a three-course lunch.” The exhibition itself is free to attend

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The Chamber’s AGM will include a presentation by chief executive Paul Griffiths and a networking lunch. Members will be given a review of the year and will have the chance to

One of the reasons members join the Chamber is the opportunity to NETWORK. By attending one of our many events, your business can meet potential suppliers, build on existing relationships and share knowledge

find out about the Chamber’s current activities and future plans. Paul said: “We are proud to invite our members to join us at our AGM.

We are the county’s leading business support agency and remain the UK’s seventh largest direct membership Chamber to be accredited by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC). “Our AGM is a great opportunity for us to come together and look back

on what we have achieved and thank all our members, board directors, Business Alliance Group members and Next Generation Chamber patrons for their ongoing support.”

MAXIMISE YOUR MEMBERSHIP The popular event is exclusive to Chamber members and helps new members to find out about the varied Chamber membership offering and reacquaints existing members with all the services and products that are available to them. Northamptonshire Chamber chief executive Paul Griffiths said: “We run

these events to make sure our members are getting the most out of their Chamber membership. “They are great for members who want a refresh as to what products

and services their Chamber membership covers. “Members can also meet the third-party suppliers behind some of the Chamber benefits and services and can catch up with members of the Chamber’s team to make sure they are taking advantage of every available opportunity that Chamber membership offers to them.” The event also includes time for members to meet one another in a relaxed environment over tea and coffee.

BUSINESS AFTER HOURS Business After Hours events are designed to offer an informal evening of networking, drinks and a buffet. The events are open to Chamber members as well as non-members with the aim of bringing together a raft of new business contacts. Each Business After Hours event includes a speaker, who is chosen at the

preceding event. Speakers are drawn at random – place your business card in the hat and be in with a chance to present to a room of key business contacts for 10 minutes. This format has proved extremely popular and offers maximum business impact to a receptive audience.
