might achieve 40% or 50% overall and we’ve already formulated several products that individually hit these percentages.” While Beardow Adams is placing


an emphasis on using bio-based materials in new products, the company’s also assessing existing products to see if there is any


potential for reformulation involving more bio-based raw materials, without impacting performance or quality. The firm has invested in equipment that enables it to manufacture adhesives in an environmentally friendly way. It is also making paper packaging available as part of a structured plastic reduction scheme.
