Business people looking to play a more active role in the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce (ABCC), are being urged to put themselves forward to be a part of the Chamber's executive committee (pictured). Nominees are required to fill out an application form and then invited to an interview panel,


which takes place on 4 March. The Chamber will announce the successful candidates at the organisation's next annual general


meeting, taking place on 8 April between 10am and 1pm. Nominees can download and fill out the application form by visiting

Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer, which raises cash to support women which have breast cancer, will be addressing delegates at the event, taking place at Edgbaston stadium on 5 March. Representatives from the charities will be speaking at the event, which is part of events across the globe which celebrate, highlight and recognise women and women’s issues as part of International Women’s Day, which takes place 8 March.


Speaking ahead of the event, Anjum Khan,


director of ABCC, said: “Our International Women’s Day annual event is a real highlight of the ABCC’s events calendar. We’re really looking forward to this event, and hearing from our women’s health expert speakers from Ovacome and Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer.” Tickets for the event cost £30 to members of the Chamber, and £35 for non-members.
