Trio to help deliver hub
The Urban Growth Company (UGC) in Solihull has made a trio of new appointments. Danny Trup has joined as engineering and
programme director, Sue Barrett as commercial and contracts director and Marta Lenska as office administrator. The appointments come as the UGC’s plans to develop the UK Central Hub near Birmingham Airport move closer. UGC managing director Jonathan Bretherton said: “These appointments reflect the expanding
role of the UGC as we begin the physical delivery of a wide range of projects in Solihull, such as the redevelopment of Birmingham International Station into a multi-modal transport exchange.” The UGC’s plans for the UK Central Hub, which
includes the HS2 Interchange Station, will support 70,000 jobs, create 650,000 square metres of commercial floor space, and deliver up to 5,000 new homes.

points off fifth and with two games in hand. With just under a third of the season left there is good scope for a very talented squad to once again have an assault on the play-offs or beyond.” Moors are now seeking a replacement for
Flowers, and chairman Darryl Eales said: “Tim has made an invaluable contribution to the development of Moors and his legacy will be enshrined in Moors history forever. Our progress under his stewardship has been fantastic and he leaves a great foundation for future success.”
