CHAMBER NEWS

Air IT elevated from Chamber patron to strategic partner

IT, communication and telephony services company Air IT has accepted an invitation to become a strategic partner to the Chamber. It has been a Chamber patron

since 2017. Chamber patrons include organisations that want to take an influential and prominent role in the local business community. From its patrons, the Chamber

chooses organisations to become strategic partners to collaborate on specific policy matters, utilising their expertise to guide businesses and steer the Chamber’s policy and lobbying activity. Scott Knowles, Chamber Chief

Executive, said: “I am delighted that Air IT has agreed to become a strategic partner. We’ve worked closely with Air IT as a member and, more recently, as a patron and know they have a lot to offer. “Our strategic partners influence

delivery of our policy and how we lobby Government and other opinion formers. They are drawn from among our patrons, which are

themselves a powerful force in shaping policy to drive economic growth and develop and equip smaller businesses with the knowledge and skills that are vital to their future.” Paul Judge, Marketing Director,

at Air IT, said: “We’re delighted to accept the invitation to become a strategic partner to the Chamber. We’ve been a Chamber member for nearly 15 years and a patron for nearly two years and believe we have a lot more to offer to local businesses. “We’re extremely excited about

this opportunity and are very much looking forward to taking a leading role in advising businesses, particularly with regards to using technology to support growth.” With offices in Nottingham and

Derby, award-winning Air IT has been established since 2005 and has over 400 clients, ranging from SMEs to enterprises with offices around the world, covering a wide variety of industry sectors.

In 2016, the firm was ranked in

the top 250 managed service providers in the world, and number one in the East Midlands. Air IT’s services include a full

range of tailored ICT services, such as advice, solution design, consultancy and support. Clients can choose from fully- or partly- outsourced managed IT support,
