APPOINTMENTS Trainee solicitors join Rothera Sharp


Rothera Sharp has announced the appointment of three trainee solicitors who are commencing their training contracts with the firm this autumn. Joshua Morley, Jasmine Jackson


and Joanne Derbyshire are the latest recruits at the Nottingham law firm, which now has six members of staff completing their training contracts. Joshua, who will be completing


his first seat in Commercial Property, graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a first class LLB degree and is currently completing his LLM degree. Joanne will be completing her first seat in Personal Injury at the Lace Market office. She joined Rothera Sharp in September 2018 as a receptionist at the firm’s Beeston branch and progressed through the roles of Legal Secretary and Family Law Legal Assistant before starting her training contract in September. And JasminE joined in June 2019


as a paralegal in the transport department. She will be undertaking her first seat in Family while studying for her LPC and LLM part-time. Jasmine graduated from


Nottingham Trent University in 2017 with a first-class LLB degree while also undertaking a placement year in a national law firm. Rothera Sharp has also

welcomes Martin Rees to the newly-created role of Senior Transport Manager. He will assume responsibility for all elements of the current


transport sector of the business, develop the transport arm of its third- party logistics sector and ensure that its excellent on-time, in-full (OTIF) figures of 99.7% are maintained, even as the business continues to expand. Martin said: “I have had a 30-year career in transport, distribution
