Raising Funds For Merley Cobham Spitfi res They are lucky to have a sponsorship
Merley Cobham Spitfi res under 10s were a
brand new team at the start of the 2018/19 season.
Many of the boys had never played in a team before and the journey they have been on this season is amazing. They instantly bonded as a group of boys and get along so well, training every week together as well as meeting up socially (although a football is normally involved!).
Their manager Ben has coached them through a fantastic season and they were undefeated in their league. Ben’s commitment and hard work was rewarded when he received Manager of the Season at our recent presentation day and it was welcomed by our amazingly supportive bunch of parents!
The boys have exceeded all of our expectations by being moved into the Bournemouth League for next season when they go to 9-a-side.
in place for next season, however, they would like to raise money for their own training kit and some other specialist equipment for their training
sessions. They have been very self motivated and have
already had a successful cake sale in Merley and have now organised another event to raise funds.
On the morning of Sunday 21st July the boys are going to be selling their outgrown items at
Canford Park arena car boot sale – expect lots of football related items, toys and games!
Please do come along and support them if you can. Alternatively you can donate on our go fund me page:
