new system at the BIGGA Turf Management Exhibition. Bernhard engineering manager Matt Bloomfield said: “We were extremely pleased to see the response we had at BTME to the Anglemaster 4500 and we are very excited to present yet more innovations at GIS.”

Grant helps prototypes business to press ahead
Birmingham Prototypes has relocated to a new manufacturing facility in Kings Norton following a £110,000 grant arranged by Central Business Finance and a seven-figure finance package from HSBC UK. The firm specialises in sheet metal

Business Finance, a Midlands-based independent finance broker, and other funding has enabled the business to double its premises space and invest in new machinery. The firm has bought a £1.5m 3D
laser cutting machine with the money and has also created 11 new jobs.
Michael Adams, managing director
of Birmingham Prototypes, said: “The scale of work we do varies greatly from one-off bespoke parts to large projects containing multiple components through to scheduled low-volume production parts. “To continually develop and
diversify our products, ensure our clients are happy with the range of service and products we develop and the time and quality to deliver, we needed to invest in our premises and have the very best solutions on the market. “As one of only a handful of skilled prototyping businesses in

something I had considered, and having worked with Alison at Central Business Finance previously, it was clear that they would be able to support our relocation objectives.” The independent commercial financial services provider sourced
the £110,000 grant through the European Regional Development Fund’s Property Investment Programme, managed by Birmingham City Council. Alison Bradley, managing
