Get involved with the 2019 Digital Growth Conference
Dates for the highly-anticipated Digital Growth Conference 19 have now been announced, and businesses across the region are being urged to take advantage of the expert-led programme. The fully-funded events in
Nottingham and Leicester will showcase the very latest developments in the world of digital marketing – helping SMEs to stay at the cutting edge of new technology, tools and techniques. The full-day sessions will build
on the success of the programme’s conferences earlier this year, which saw 98% of the 600 delegates saying they would like the opportunity to attend another. Booking is now open and
businesses are urged to secure their place. Diane Beresford, Deputy Chief
Executive of the Chamber, said: “The conferences were a resounding success and there’s been a lot of demand for us to stage more in 2019. “The quality and depth of
knowledge and expertise on the project is brilliant and this is never clearer than when we bring all of this together for these full-day

events, so we’re really excited that planning is underway.” The days will feature some of the
programme’s most popular topics – including a look at the latest developments in social media (including the use of Facebook groups as a way of engaging with customers), what’s new in online search, and how SMEs can make their budgets go further by using paid-for social advertising. Keynote speakers are yet to be announced, but information will be published over the coming months. Diane said: “We’re working with
hundreds of companies across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, and I’m pleased to say that we have a lot of very satisfied businesses. It’s really
rewarding to see the positive impact that we’re having on the region’s SMEs, and how this ultimately translates into a boost for the local economy. “But many more could benefit
from what the project has to offer. We’d love to see as many companies as possible get the most out of the Digital Growth Programme. Overall, the programme is simply an opportunity not to be missed and, if people aren’t signed up, we would urge them to find out more about the benefits to their business.”
