MEMBER NEWS Fleet firm to support children’s charity
Total Motion, the UK’s largest independent fleet management company which employs 61 people from in and around the Leicester area, has chosen fellow Chamber member the Bodie Hodges Foundation as its latest Corporate Partner. The Bodie Hodges Foundation (BHF) had the initial aim of raising
funds to buy a holiday home for families to use following the death of Bodie in 2012. Bodie died aged 10 months following a choking accident and Bodie’s Boathouse was opened in October 2016. The charity supports around 30
families per year by giving them time away at Bodie’s Boathouse to relax, reflect and hopefully start to
get back on their feet. Nick Hodges, Founder of the
Bodie Hodges Foundation and Bodie’s father, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to officially have Total Motion on board as one of our charity partners. We have already received tremendous support from Simon and his team in recent years on a number of
events with a particular highlight being the inaugural Jamie Raven Golf Day at The Belfry in August. “We have been very fortunate to
receive some incredible support from a number of Leicestershire- based businesses which share our vision and the addition of Total Motion as an official partner will help us to continue growing and support families bereaved of a child and raise awareness of organ donation. “We have some exciting times
ahead and can’t wait to get started.” Simon Hill, Managing Director at
Total Motion, added: “Total Motion has been working with Bodie Hodges Foundation recently on a number of charity events. Since our involvement we have been provided with a great insight into how many different families they have helped with the amazing work they do. This has led us to the decision to make Bodie Hodges our chosen charity for 2019. “We are very excited to be

getting fully involved with the upcoming fundraising events we have already planned for 2019 and offer our full support to such a worthy cause.”
