Success in the saddle 2


It has been a brilliant year for our equestrian teams who have gone from strength to strength. Meanwhile, Sixth Form student Reuben has been making a name for himself on the internatational triathlon circuit. In June Reuben travelled to the Netherlands to compete as part of team GB in the European Junior


Triathlon Cup. And in August he gained the bronze medal in the under 20s category of the European Age Group Triathlon Championships held at Strathclyde Country Park as part of the European Championships Glasgow 2018.


Highlight of the season for our equestrian teams was competing in the NSEA Eventer’s Challenge Championships which took place at the prestigious All England Jumping Course at Hickstead.


Closer to home, they took victory in the finals of the Bloxham Eventer Challenge Series ... with the team coming first in the 80cm category and Maizey winning the individual league.


017/18 has seen Sibford pupils sitting pretty in the name of success!
